The founder and director of New East Platform, Flavia was awarded an HMC scholarship in 2011 to pursue her studies in the UK. Originally from the Republic of Moldova, she is currently a BA student of History, Politics and Philosophy at the New College of the Humanities in London, and writes policy reports, in collaboration with civil society institutions and experts in London.
New East Platform is a registered UK charity. It stems from Flavia’s wish to counter misconceptions circulating in Western media outlets, and to develop a free platform for Eastern European analysts. Flavia’s long-term career interest is to elaborate policy analysis and recommendations for developing countries the region.
